Joint Effort / RE: (TV) New Patti Smith article

>no joint numbers ..... have been worked out in advance

Maybe they could do some covers, say, Dylan (e.g., Tom Thumb's Blues' or
'Knockin' On Heaven's Door') and Doors (e.g., 'Riders On The Storm')
[Verlaine was a Doors fan at one point], or Presley's '(A Hunka Hunka Hunka)
Burning Love', or a Brian Wilson tune.

Subject: (TV) New Patti Smith article

There's an article about Patti Smith in the NJ Star-Ledger, including
some interview quotes. Quite a few mentions of Television. Also this:

"Smith says that no joint numbers between her band (also featuring
Kaye, drummer Jay Dee Daugherty, bassist Tony Shanahan and guitarist
Oliver Ray) and Television (Verlaine, guitarist Richard Lloyd,
drummer Billy Ficca, bassist Fred Smith) have been worked out in
advance for Saturday. But anything is possible.

"Tom's played with us a lot of times -- he toured with us in '96 --
so you never know what will happen," she says.
