Really? I love that first record but never would have lumped them with Tom
and company. Too rigorous and internalized. Good rave-ups live, tho.

Oddly enough, one of the commercials during last night's World Series game
featured a snippet of The Feelies' "Slow Down," off the 1986 follow-up "The
Good Earth." Forget what was being sold; I was too shocked to notice. I hope
that Bill Million saw some of the money, though, since I heard he dropped
off the face of the earth some years back. Or was it Glenn Mercer? I always
got them confused.
