(TV) TV Party on DVD

Not sure if there is much of a direct Television connection, but the first episode
of the late 70s/early 80s cable show "TV Party" has been released on DVD.

Hosted by Glenn O'Brien, co-hosted by Chris Stein, with the TV Party Orchestra led by Walter Stedding
this show was broadcast out of Manhattan, with the cast and guests drawn from the downtown scene.

They claim they have 80 hours of tape, and that they would like to release as many episodes as possible.
Should be interesting!
