RE: (TV) Is nothing sacred?

BCN back then was truly awesome (I grew up in that area), even though I never heard Roadrunner during that time (not that I doubt Michael one iota). The way I heard of JR & the ML was probably different than most folks- I heard about them in the Eno song The True Wheel from Taking Tiger Mt. where it goes "We saw the Lovers, the Modern Lovers. And they looked very good. They looked as if they could." And I said to my buddy who turned me on to Eno "Hey, do you think this Modern Lovers was a real group?" and this led me to track the debut album down a year later (which was 1980).

I hold both that Eno album and the debut of the ML's as sacred, but what is sacred to one is Marketing fodder to others.

Cheers,

Brian

True, the Beserkley album wasn't out till then, but that tune was being
played on BCN as far back as '72 (thank you, Maxanne Sartori).
