Carlucci / RE: (TV) NY Times article

Thought it was a great article--poignant. But another minor
gaffe[??"] Carlucci only 40?

When he was on the MM List he used to talk about the NYC 1977-78
scene and some of its casualties (for instance, what was the name
of that woman, who was a 1970's associate of Lloyd[?] Carlucci
was always mentioning about? Think she also had some connection
to Deerfrance--I'm probably totally wrong on this.)
'40' would make him only 12 years old in 1977.

Wonder if he still risks Tom's wrath by selling Verlaine/Television
bootlegs. The last time I was in his store I didn't see any--he gave
me a nice cd-r insert for the acetate of Tom's 1st album. It was
a little bit of a letdown to finally meet the guy after years of
reading his posts---although by then he had left the List and by
then we had little to talk about.

"Robert Quine, the crusty side guitarist for Television and Lou Reed"

Don't they use fact checkers at the NY Times?
