you will all forsake your former favorite artists if
you catch vic williams at the knitting factory --
booked for july 12, along with jc hopkins and queen
esther. seriously, any chance to see her is a
must-do; but be prepared that her shows are nothing if
not improvised and loose.
vic is going through a bit of a change at the moment,
as mark olson apparently did not return home after his
last tour. so she's on her own, while mark's in
europe now. the handful of solo shows she's done til
now, mostly around her home in joshua tree, have
gotten great response.
and btw she is taper-friendly, along with friendly in
general -- send me tapes!
