I'm not a big Bockris fan and really like Roberta. Bockris spoke at the
Quine Memorial and said it was all our fault that Bob was dead. That we
didn't do enough to keep Bob alive. What a load of shit.

Yeah, I thought that was a lot of guilt to dump on someone who was just trying to pay his respects to someone he'd casually known ten years earlier. (and get a bit of closure, for some reason Quine's death hit me kind of hard.)

Oh, wait, am I still Tom Verlaine (a joke that makes more sense if I'm posting from my Thomas Miller account)? That's right. It was all my fault. I should have called him daily to tell him how sorry I was for not letting him join Television in the 70s.

(All sarcasm aside, from what I saw, Quine had a lot of friends who cared about him. If he wasn't able to take comfort in that, a few more session calls wouldn't have changed anything. And the memorial did provide some closure. Especially the tape of him ranting about B.B. King.)

Wow. I just watched Roberta Bayley suing Victor Bockris on People's
Court.
Apparently he owed her money for collaborating on the Patti Smith book.
Legs Mc Neil was a witness for Bockris. Very surreal. Weirdest court
show I've
seen since that drummer suing Johnny Lydon on Judge Judy. Sorry for the
off-topic post, but I just had to share that with somebody.
