(TV) Mount Morris, NJ Is Alive & Well, & Their Inhabitants Are Legion

This will likely be of no interest to anyone except
the hardcore.

>Mount Morris is in NY, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin,
>Minnesota, and Michigan.

You forgot Minnesota!

>Popular haunts of the nomadic Miller tribe.

Your use of the word *'tribe'* for his family is quite
eerie--almost telepathic. (I will come back to this later.)

>Perhaps Tom is being confused with Francis Bellamy, another
>great American..? http ://www.villageofmountmorris.com/bellamy.htm

No, you are confusing him with the late Baptist minister Jacob
Cozad, **Mt. Morris, N.J.**

>Mount Arlington, Mount Kemble, Mount Tabor, Mount Freedom,
>and Mount >Olive are in Morris County (home of Morristown).

Don't forget Mount Fern, Cedar Knolls, Union Village,
Morris Plains, and Murray Hill.

I thought the discrepancy [Mt. Morris vs Morristown] might
possibly be explained (away) if Mount Morris is a
Village--larger than a hamlet, but smaller than a Town--of
Morristown, or a neighborhood of, or a section of (analogous
to Fields Corner, MA, or The Bowery, NYC, or Ashmont Hill, MA).

There exists a group of New Jersey War II/Korea/Vietnam/......
veterans named "Mount Morris Post No. 143, American Legion"
as well as a baseball team called Mount Morris. BOTH are in NJ:

After going to this link, scroll down to "American Legion"
on left.
