(TV) The Ominous Bond Theme Riff / Who Plays What When

RE: Playing of the Bond Theme riff at Television shows:

Last night, I was checking set list info (totally
unrelated to the Bond Q) for a database I keep and I
'stumbled' across these:.

Philip wrote on March 19, 2002 (re: the show of 19th):
".... quick, bluesy run-through of the James Bond
theme by Tom!"

I don't want to beat this to death :>)
but---
a) I would agree that the majority of the time, Richard and Tom
do not switch who plays the solo (or if two solos on a single song
who plays the first one--except for MM in which Lloyd always
goes first ). I'll say 90-95% of the this is the case.

Hoever, I have heard and seen Verlaine play Richard's" parts on both
Rhyme and 'Mr Lee'. This might shock some :>),
but I've been too busy at work and other stuff to find the specific
instances. Il get on it this weekend (I think my memory's still good
--(maybe too good) and I swear I've seen parts/solos although my memory
isn't as
good as it was b. the i'LL GET CRACKING THIS

Tom has played the Bond theme on a few occasions, including his Oct.
2001 solo show.

I've never seen Tom do the solo for "Call Mr. Lee".
