RE: (TV) Hit SEND Button Prematurely / More Coming / Q for Per / RE: (TV) The Ominous Bond Theme Riff / Who Plays What When

I'll second my fellow Swede's opinion about Verlaine's limited abilities. When did anyone hear Verlaine play at that speed? Maybe in parts of the final soloing in "Breakin' in my heart", but nowhere else - certainly not on records, probably not on stage. And why would Lloyd give away his solo in that particular song? If they did change solos, howcome they've never do so in other tunes? Would be exciting to hear what Lloyd could do with the stretched Verlaine-part in "Marquee moon", for instance - but that'll never happen.

I accidentially hit the SEND button somehow on my previous e-mail
when I was only half-finished writing--I'll be posting its
remainder in a few minutes.

For now

Per,

What do you mean exactly by "Tom's not able to play Richard's solo in Mr.
Lee."
FDo you mean he's too busy playing rhythm guitar behind Richard's solo
and/or busy doing the vocals?

Or do you mean literally that Tom would not be able to replicate Richard's
solo?

Leo

Tom's not able to play Richard's solo in Mr. Lee. Though, I'm not sure about

Rhyme, you could be right there, looking forward for your proof.
