(TV) Crosby/Byrds/Christgau

Christgau is of no consequence. I've never liked anything he's had to say. A strong statement perhaps but that the way I feel.

Crosby's "If only I could remember my name" is something of a masterpiece in my opinion. The songs "Laughing", "Cowboy Movie" and the haunting "I'd swear there was somebody here", about the death of his girl friend, are among his best.

"If your Gone" by Gene Clark gives me chills.
