(TV) Size / "I'll be your handyman, You don't know me, or my face, But I like to work around your place" / Harp Magazine



Regarding this photo:

I know it's been discussed before on the List about how (everything else
being equal) the size of a guitarist hands (length of fingers) does not
offer an significant advantage in playing the instrument.

But take a look at the size of TV's hands in this photo.

Am I over-reacting?

Isn't there some rule of thumb [no pun intended] analogous to the 
ancient' Greek's golden proportion in Geometry about the length
Of the *average* person's hand (from wrist to end of middle finger) 
and the size [height] of a person's head (e.g., with my hand placed 
vertically on my chin, my middle finger does not reach the top of my 
head), but
