(TV) How about Travis?

Anybody heard of them?  In the world of six degrees of lesbian chatrooms
more commonly know as Rhapsody, Gomez to Doves to Travis.

And going back, Gomez from Joy Division (not sure I got that connection) but
did who cover Sister Ray from the Velvets.  And since even Television came
from the Velvets, there's your connection.
