It deserves every one of those stars.  I've had the opportunity to listen
to my copy a number of times now and I've got the following random
comments.

I can't listen to the original album any more.  There's not a single
part on the album that isn't drenched in reverb.  The only redeeming
feature on the original disk is the guitar playing on the title track,
which wasn't brought over to the new disk.

The new disk is *superb*.  Richard is a master at producing a record in
which all the parts balance perfectly and not one of them sounds overly
processed.  The guitar playing is wonderful (natch) and the album has
really come to life.

The songwriting for the most part isn't as strong as on "Cover" but 
Richard had 20 years or so to hone his craft between the two.

I am very glad that Richard undertook this project.  This music deserved
to be handled well, and now it has been.
