Re: (TV) Patti Smith Tour - OT

patti still has lenny and j.d., who have been with her
from the start, and tony, who's been with her since
the 90s.  not sure who the second guitarist will be
(that's been tom's spot on and off; she's dropped the
young boyfriend-in-the-band guitarist, oliver ray). 
i've heard her kids may be pitching in -- those would
be her kids w/ that other fred smith, the mc5's sonic
-- jack and jesse.    

she is releasing a covers album, and has actually
always played tons of covers...uh, starting w/ "hey
joe" and "gloria"...but no doubt will play plenty of
her own stuff.  if you're lucky, she won't play
"dancing queen" or "because the night."

i doubt you'll regret seeing her.  i think she comes
off much better live than on most of her albums.  and
she's a fabulous 60.
