Russ, My experience was very similar to yours. I read about Television in 
1978 and
when I attended college in 1978, there was "Adventure" in the record bins. 
Prior to
that, I was only a fan of Queen and The Doors were starting to make their 
way into
my subconscious around this time I discovered Television.
