yes, "west" was released last month. it's a single
cd, but longer than "exile on main street." better
than her last studio album -- which i really didn't
like -- but no home run, imo. not as good as
"essence," which i really liked.
i saw her two weeks ago at stubb's, a sold-out show.
played two and half hours, and seemed sober, or at
least not wasted to the point of incapacitation, which
is a change from some of the shows i've seen her do.
she's apparently fallen in love, and is getting or has
gotten married, and straightened out, i think.
