Re: (TV) ziggy stardust

I'm in the middle of a huge Bowie kick -- as of last week or so.
Revisiting compilations, boots, DVDs, books, etc., everything I got.
(Even considering buying that signed copy of the "Modern Love" 45 on
Ebay right now... to go with my signed copy of PIN-UPS and my copy of
HEROES signed by Eno, Bowie, and Fripp)

As for the ZIGGY STARDUST lp, it's good, but I still wish they'd
remix it to have a bit more oomph -- more ALADDIN SANE, less HUNKY
DORY. I have always thought the BBC versions of ZIGGY songs, while
tinny and mono, are ultimately superior. ZIGGY STARDUST is a
"classic" record, but it rarely rates as any serious Bowie fan's
favorite.
