just rediscovering his work thanks to some recent
bootleg acquisitions.  wasn't in love with him back in
the day, but am falling in love now.  enough so that i
just put in an order for the appropriately-titled
"irresistible impulse" box set.  i've seen a number of
web references comparing him to ornette coleman, but
i'm hearing much more albert ayler.

anyway, does anyone have current info on what he's up
to?  or why he's so far below the radar?  apparently
he's done a handful of gigs in the last decade or so? 
i always wonder how these guys live...
