We could also crush up some of the various brands of cigarettes Tom has
smoked throughout the years, put them in a centrifuge, and see if there's
any correlation between their chemical structure and the record Tom released
that year... perhaps some relationship between that and the makeup of the
metal on the strings he was using (given that he must be excreting nicotine
through his fingertips)... the mind reels at the prospect of academic
Verlainology...
