It is a great article. I didn't arrive in NYC until a full 20 years after Ty, but even then I still got chills everytime I'd catch an early morning (6 AM) cab outside my Bleecker St. apartment building and drive directly towards CBGBs en route to the airport as the dawn lit over the Bowery.
