Saw it at Sundance in January. It *is* unfocused and pretentious -- and 
cheering, occasionally exhilarating. I liked it, but I'm a fan, and it plays 
to fans. Verlaine's barely in it, though; the director said he actively 
avoided being filmed.

I just sent an email to the publicist at Palm Pictures to find out if/when 
it's getting a US theatrical release outside of the festival circuit. Will 
post when I hear back from her.
