*Richard Lloyd News*:

*Richard Lloyd* will be participating in the second annual *Howl 
Festival* as noted below, and may also play a short set along with 
several other panel members who may be playing short sets after the 
panel, which starts at 10 p.m.  If you are in the New York area on 
September 7, we hope you will stop by.  Information below. 

Also below is a list of press previews, interviews and reviews from the 
recent *Richard Lloyd and the* *SufiMonkeyTrio* summer tour.  The tour 
was a rousing success and all the clubs want to have the Trio back soon. 

*Richard Lloyd and the SufiMonkey Trio starring Bill Ficca on drums and 
Keith Hartel on bass are planning a* *fall tour for late October and 
early November in the Northeast and Midwest.*  Look for more details at* 
www.richardlloyd.com* in the weeks to come.  In the meantime *Richard 
resumes his teaching* *of guitar studies* at his studio in Manhattan, 
continues writing his *monthly columns for* *Guitar World* magazine 
while continuing to talk with the *Jimi Hendrix Estate *about the 
release of *his album of Hendrix covers* early next year on *Parasol 
Records*, to be called "*The Jamie Neverts Story*."

*Second annual HOWL Festival: *
*Punk Panel* is Sunday Night Sept 7  10pm at Bowery Poetry Club
(bowery across the street from former cbgb's).
