I don't recall all the words right now, but I think I was unable to voice *exactly* how I felt after both of Richard's shows in VA last year - 
 this review does a pretty good job of it. Except I would have added 'sloppy fretwork'.
Don't get me wrong: I love a LOT of Lloyd's music, and playing. Just not recently.
He has every right to do whatever he wants, of course. I just wish it was in Television.

 
one apropos quote from the review:"the only thing that made Television so great was the push-and-pull tension and interaction between Verlaine and Lloyd." I believe that may be true, although I don't think it's the *only* thing. Not in a band that had Billy Ficca.
