Yeah, they are so very cool that way.  My 11 and 8 year old girls are so on
my wavelength, and I love it.  The older one has a band, and it's so fun to
be at her rehearsals and show her how to do stuff on the fly, and be able to
have real conversations about the weird experience of fronting a rock
band... she gets it.
