her diagnosis came out a little before the album.  but i really assumed she
would survive it -- i have, thankfully, gotten used to women surviving breast
cancer.  i do wonder if she pursued much medical treatment -- given her
history, it's possible she didn't, i guess.
 
have been listening to the new album, will listen differently now.
 
very sad.

Holy $#!+ I just heard a review last night on NPR of her new album,
Generation Indigo.  There was no mention of her being ill.  I'm really
sad about this.
