Totally agree that it would never have worked...the two of them in the same
band. But it seems a shame it busted up a good friendship.

Tom Verlaine and Richard Hell. Hell was there at the beginning and ,
in spite of what some have said, was integral in its inception, but it
was not destined to be his band - it never could be.
