I've been listening to the self-titled Quicksilver Messenger Silver album
lately. I know that Lester Bangs heard that influence in Television and
reading over at Richard Lloyd's site he says that they were an influence. Has
Tom ever admitted to them being an influence on his playing style? If he has,
I musta missed it.
I'm really enjoying the album overall...though some of it sounds a bit 'dated,
overall I think it stands up pretty well. I don't know why I never checked
them out before.
