Re: (TV) Marquee Moon 33 1/3

I agree with your comments, Keith. It was a good read, but I felt a little let down by the relative (compared to the first part of the book) brevity actually accorded the album at the end of the book. But, that is a very minor complaint. It was very well researched, written, and put together and I really enjoyed reading it. I think Waterman did an excellent job of putting Television in context of music "fads" (i.e. VU, glam, and others) as well as in context of NYC at that particular point in time. Like you, it would have been nice to have the voices of the band members themselves. For that, we'll have to wait until Richard Lloyd finishes and publishes his memoirs. Only other thing I can think of is that he could have added an appendix with a comprehensive listing of live recordings out there (oh wait, I have one of those!)

Nice to see shout outs to you and Phil for the websites, and to Leo for his meticulous attention to detail regarding all things Television. Leo is the true keeper of the flame.
