Hey, I've gone back to reading the MM archives again and came across this
discussion from 2002 on why Television became popular in the UK while
remaining unpopular/unknown here in the states. Thanks for those who wrote an
explanation of that. It's a subject that interests me and your replies
explained it well, I thought.
And it helps to 'partly' explain (me being a west-coaster) my embarrassing
lack of knowledge of Television/being so late to them. And it was a music
friend on the internet who actually clued me into Tom having a solo music
career.
