Re: (TV) 'In World' lyrics

Deb:
Okay, on relistening I now hear the "swing my head" phrase you hear.
I
hear the two lines as:
"Empy noose on my bed
Big ol' lie swing my head"
-"Swing" makes sense 'cause it relates to "noose" in the prior line.
Maybe
you're right it's a break up song.
Or something else that occurs to me is it
possibly being about being torn between two women,
one for whom he'll "always
hold a torch", & another one who's a new "infatuation", leaving him
confused
about what to do, & feeling badly about the situation. That's my guess,
anyway.

But only Tom know's for sure the song's meaning!

Hey Bob,

Do you hear the first part as...'empty noose, on my
bed'
and you don't hear the ....'swing my head' part? you hear 'in my head,
instead then?

Are you listening w/ headphones?

Do you agree w/ my
interpretation of the song or sthg else?

Deb
