More on 'Swells' / RE: (TV) Dime Television show

RE: >I seem to recall the opening piece for this tour referred to as Swells.

I agree. I don't believe the band ever referred to this opening piece as
anything other than 'Swells' albeit 'Crescendo' captures about half of the
piece's character.

Maurice once described 'Swells' as " . a sort of ambient, dramatic overture
... ".   I think this is a good description.

I've heard is Sao Paulo, October 25, 2005 [i.e., the recording/cd-r
entitled, "October 25, 2005, SESC Pompeia, Sao Paolo, Brazil"], and [the]
'Tramps' [i.e., "June 12, 1996, Tramps, NYC", Non-'Swells' 'Intro'] has to
be up there as well.".

The Tramps Non-'Swells' 'Intro' is both ominous and very beautiful;
unfortunately, during its first 40sec. the crowd's talking is annoying.

Was it orig called Crescendo or was that just a fan's name for it? Anyone
know?

I seem to recall the opening piece for this tour referred to as Swells.
