RE: (TV) The biggest Television fan?

Kind of like Americans getting Chinese tattoos and have no idea what they
mean.

I saw a cute meme about "if Chinese got American tattoos" and it was like
Chinese millennials walking around with "water" tattooed on their forearm,
or "cheese."

But as some point, Grandpa's going to have to 'splain to Skippy why he has a
Grateful Dead Skullfuck logo tattooed across his biceps. "Well, junior, at
the time we smoked a lot of pot....."

Right Phil, one would think someone going to all the trouble of having a "M
arquee Moon" tattoo inscribed on their arm might also have been interested
enough in the subject to have acquired a slightly better store of knowledge
about the album & band than that guy apparently possesses.

However, I
'll recount a similar example. I once spoke with a guy who had Jimmy Page's
symbol tattooed on his arm, the one that reads something like "ZoSo". The
only thing he said he knew about it, besides that it was Page's, was that h
e'd been told the symbol was originally Jimi Hendrix's but that upon Jimi's
death had, in some mysterious way,  been passed on to Jimmy Page as the next
worthy bearer of the symbol (oo-ee-oo. An obviously fanciful, bogus st ory).
Actually, the symbol can pretty easily be traced to some of Page's oc
cultism studies he was involved in, but the guy with the tattoo had no clue
about that or it's meaning. Oddly, it seems getting a tattoo doesn't neces
sarily imply the tattooed one knows very much about what their tattoo repre
sents!

That's amazing. But if he's such a bi

Then again, he calls
the Rhino reissue of MARQUEE MO
ON "recent" so perhaps dates aren't his thi ng. :)
