Marc was nearly killed in a motorbike accident a few months ago, and has been recovering slowly. I haven't followed his career closely but I realized a long time ago that he was a major talent when I heard the song "Where The Heart Is" by Soft Cell. The synthesizer and Marc's weird-but-wonderful off-key voice made for a masterpiece, quite unlike anything I'd heard before.
