(TV) rap

Just to be totally politically incorrect, I think rap pretty much blows, 
even the so called good stuff talked about here. It sounds totally dated to
me. Lauryn Hill makes me cringe, as does just about every other "diva"
singer I've ever heard. I'd rather hear Billie Holiday. Or Richard Hell. Or
Eric Dolphy playing in a different key to "My Favorite Things" and making it
work! Oh well, can't say I haven't tried.
