Re: [(TV) Iggy & Stooges - Live at Academy of Music 12/31/73]

As I recall (and this is going back a ways), the Ig was fairly inebriated that
night. He spent most of the show lying prone on the floor. Occassionally, I
guess out of a duty to showmanship, he'd roll into the orchestra seats. Nice
yellow undies, though. I don't imagine that bootleg would be the best
representation of live Stooges.

Someone (forgot who) post a note a few days ago regarding seeing BOC, Stooges
and Kiss at the Academy of Music on New Year's Eve on 12/31/73. Well, today
the latest copy of ICE Magazine appeared in my mailbox and here's what it
says:

March 7th release for Double Danger, a 2 CD Iggy & the Stooges set on the Bomp
label (part of their Iguana Chronicles series). The first CD is from a
November 1973 performance at Baltimore's Latin Casino, and the second CD is
taken from the New Year's Eve show at the Academy of Music.

How's that for timing?
