RE: (TV) Ian Dury

The obituary in the Guardian included an anecdote which illustrates Dury's 
humour and dignity very well. He was asked by Andrew Lloyd Webber to write 
the lyrics for his "Cats" musical.
Ian Dury declined the offer. Richard Stilgoe wrote the lyrics instead and 
made millions from it.
When asked why he didn't want to write the lyrics Dury simply said "I don't 
like his music".
