No new stuff is doing it at the moment - probably because I haven't been
able to buy stuff recently. But, to recall a pre-Christmas thread, stuff
that's sitting by the stereo:

Chameleons: "Strange Times" (never dates for some - lots of - reasons)
Nina Simone: "After Hours" (sublime)
"Electric Ladyland" (who needs a reason?)
Television: Live in Atlanta '93 (ditto)
Tom Waits: "Raindogs"
1st and 2nd Roxy Music albums (hardly ever matched, never bettered)
Eno: "Here Come The Warm Jets" (so many people owe so much to this
album)
Wayne Kramer: "the Hard Stuff"
Beefheart: "Electricity"
Gang of Four: "The Peel Sessions"
Dukes of Stratosphere: "25 o'clock"

(and - I swear this is true - "Running to Stand Still", an MP3 that Joe
did which I got from his site and which one if the kids really likes.
And believe me, Joe, that's no mean achievement)
