okay, this has nothing at all to do with sonic youth, so i apologize for
posting it here, but there isn't a news group for julian cope. and i just
had to share this with someone.
julian cope (english singer/songwriter, one time teardrop explodes singer,
now kinda washed up and very weird) has put himself up for sale on ebay!
bidding started at around $15 and is now up to $15,000!!!! he is infamous
for taking huge amounts of acid and just being totally far-freakin-out...his
last album is really out there...anyway, his career has sort of dried up
over the last five years or so, and now he is selling himself on ebay.
