Re: (TV) Cameron Crowe/ Marquee Moon CD



In reply to Leo's point about the CD version of Marquee Moon, it sucks so
bad as to sound as if it was mastered at the wrong speed!, as well as
generally sounding anemic. Just about the only cool thing about it is it has
the full ending of "Marquee Moon", the big rock outro, though it kills the
feeling that the song goes on forever, a la Little Johnny Jewel. If only
Rhino Handmade would release a beautifully remastered version with some
possible bonus tracks (Arista/ Allen Lanier demos? O Mi Amore?) I heard the
Miller's Tale has far superior CD remastering of the first album's tracks,
though I've never heard it.
