(TV) Off topic but still...

I just found out Ben Orr of The Cars passed away Tuesday of pancreatic
cancer.  I lived in Boston during the mid-to-late 70s and that band was very
important at the time (some of the best nights I ever had were watching them
at The Rat).  Even though they were kinda dissed by Lloyd (who saw the Cars
as the commercial version of Television), I remember thinking the Cars could
be the band that might lead people to TV, Pere Ubu and others.  Ah, youthful
optimism...anyway, I thought it deserved some mention.
