Oh yeah, just got Jerry Lee Lewis - All  Killer No Filler, f-ing unbelievable.
Can't wait to get "Lick My Decals..." (Mike, I'll be stopping by this weekend), finally been getting into "Trout Mask Replica", had it for years, now I'm starting to get it. Got some cool old Wilson Pickett album ("Midnight Mover") and lots of other Memphis soul (esp. a late 60's Best of Booker T. & The MG's comp.) been listening to a lot.
Got some nice blues, too, esp. Rev. Robert Wilkins ( "the Prodigal Son" writer). His original version is epic, the Stones stone-cold ripped it off completely and their version has none of the
passion and intensity of the original, even though it's cool. Also got a new release of a CD, "Take Your Time", a late 60's performance of Furry Lewis with Lee Baker, Jr. Beautiful and fun music. You can hear the guitarists smile to each other.
