Re: (TV) old but new

Thanks Lee, Have you heard the "Phillipe de Barge" record, or the Electric
Banana stuff (the ultimate collection being the CD "The Electric Banana
Blows Your Mind"), all basically unreleased Pretty Things stuff from the
60's? If you are a fan of Townshend's guitar playing (esp. The Who Sell Out,
Tommy and all of the great singles), the Small Faces crisp power-pop, the
Kinks masterpiece, melodic wry Anglo-satire era, and Syd Barrett-era Pink
Floyd psychedelia, you will love it. The reviews of these records on AMG are
ridiculously uncharitable. Dick Taylor is a rock and roll guitar great. Esp.
songs like "Alexander", "Blow Your Mind" or "Running you and Me".
