Yeah, I guess my support for "Dirty Work" is kind of a fringe opinion.  Golf
shirts notwithstanding, that record sounds to me like they just went into the
studio and blasted right through it.  It's real loose, the guitars are sloppy
and, well, dirty, and the band sounds like they're having fun.  Give it
another spin, folks.

As for Verlaine getting a band together, I'm all for it.  TV's reuniting for
only three gigs kind of puzzles me.  I mean, why?  If it's just for the bucks,
to keep their name in circulation, and to keep their back catalog selling,
then so be it.  But I wish they'd be big boys about it, realize they were
destined to make music with each other, and just do it for chrissakes.  Kind
of like the Stones do.
