(TV) Re: faithless



ya know, i'm a HUGE fan of ms faithfull's
records/persona/writing/etc., but i wasn't all that
impressed with "faithfull"...it leaned more than a little on
the trashy side...i dug that she gave keith the props he so
rightfully deserves, especially over jagger (& i ain't
talking bout his bedroom powers)...she really confirms that
keith's the artist as much as mick's the con man (a long &
tangled history those 2 archetypes)...
anyhow, the voice/tone of the book felt rushed...offhand in
a lazy kinda way...i'm betting it was the publishers.
& what a thin little cd retrospective to accompany the
book...far better is the 2 disc retro island put out a
coupla yrs back.
