Ah, Britt Walford! He has a great drum solo on the latest The For Carnation disc, on the tune "Being Held." TFC, if y'all don't know, is Brian McMahan's post-Slint project. And David Pajo's Papa M is some fine, fine stuff too.
All great bands. I still remember hearing Spiderland for the first time on college radio when it first came out...the DJ played it straight through, no less.
