Well,

Howard just about said it all. It was truly wonderful, and I don't want
to hear anyone who wasn't fortunate enough to be there theorising about
why it wasn't as good as some gig they played in Dogsbreath, Idaho, in
1976!

Find the live recording, hear it and weep.

(Oh, and I know that Howard did indeed shout for "Freebird" 'cos we were
sitting behind him. This was, of course, before he was forcibly removed
from his seat by security men.)
