Anyone in Connecticut area should check out the
Reducers--a great pub/punk band from the 80's who
still play from time to time.  Here are details on

The Reducers will start playing at about 8:45pm, stop
for the 
fireworks at 9:25pm and then, following the fireworks,
play until 
SailFest closes for the night at 11:00pm.

If you get there in time to catch The Manchurians you
may get to see 
Peter join them for a song.

Traffic for the fireworks is usually pretty bad so get
there early 
and you may be able to find a decent parking spot.
There's always 
room in the parking garage (but that isn't free).
