(TV) Venus De Milo

Hello out there,

I was thinking about playing some acoustic stuff soon at a book store,
coffee shop or something, and thought I might add a TV song to my list. I
started transcribing Venus and just started getting carried away...I'm not
sure if anyone has already transcribed this yet. Anyway, I feel like
sharing...Maybe some of you would want this.
Feel free to improve it, upload it, etc..

Verses:

C
It was a tight toy night

C F G
Streets so bright

C
The world was so thin

C F G
Between my bones and skin

            Am Am
There stood another person

          F F
Who was a little suprised

      Am Am
To be face to face

       F G
With a world so alive

      Em Am
How I fell

Em Am
"Did you feel low?"

F
Na
            Riff 1: 1X
G
"Huh?"

  Em Am
I fell right into the

F G Riff 1: 1X
Arms

G F C G C Riff 2: 1X
of Venus De Milo

F C G

Repeat, verse starts in C

You know it's all like
Some new kind of drug
My senses are sharp
and my hands are like gloves

Broadway looked so medieval
It seemed to flap, like little pages
and I fell, sideways laughing
With a friend from many stages

How we felt
"Did you feel low?"
No, not at all
"Huh?"
I fell right into the Arms of Venus De Milo

Solo/Break

Okay, follow this rhythm as "loosely" as possible...
If you really want to sound like the Tom here, use a volume pedal...
Each line is a bar...

Am Am
Em Em
F F
C C
Am Am
Em Em
FFF FF
GGG

Suddenly (C)
My eyes went so soft and shaky
I knew there was pain
The pain is not aching

The Richie, Richie said:
"Hey man, lets dress up like cops, think of what we could do!"
Somethin', Somethin',
Said, "You better not..."

And I fell
"Did you feel low?"
Na
"Huh?"
I stood up, walked out the Arms of Venus De Milo

Riff 2: Instead of ending the second bar in G, repeat the first bar...
The third time is too tricky for me...Richard masterfully ends
Tom's beautiful little "folk" song with some kind of scale from
        G to the endnote -- C.

Here are the chords:

F C G C
F C G C
F C G G
C
