i read in an old article somewhere (i can't remember) that tom used to get mugged a lot coming back from gigs. i remember this because i believe he told the interviewer of one specific time that someone tried to rough him up, but TV was so drunk, he just stood there looking at the knife-wielding rascal. the hoodlum said something about tom having "cat's eyes" and decided to stay away from him. does anyone else remember this?
